1.About these terms

The Services are provided by Girder Labs Ltd (“Girder Labs”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17275076). If you don’t agree with these terms, please don’t use the Services.

2.Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use the Services. You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your login details secure. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3.Subscriptions, billing & cancellation

• Some Services offer paid plans, free trials, or subscriptions that renew automatically until cancelled.
• Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are managed by Apple/Google under their terms — you manage or cancel them in your store account.
• Purchases made directly (e.g. via Stripe on the web) follow the billing terms shown at checkout. You can cancel anytime; cancelling stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Consumer rights: if you’re a UK/EU consumer you may have a statutory “cooling-off” cancellation right. By choosing to start using digital content immediately, you may agree to waive that right where the law allows.
• Prices may change; we’ll give reasonable notice before a change affects you.

4.Health & fitness disclaimer (ForgeFit)

ForgeFit provides general fitness and training information and tools. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional guidance. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any exercise or nutrition programme, particularly if you have a medical condition. You use fitness content at your own risk.

5.Estimates disclaimer (TrueShift)

TrueShift produces estimates based on the information you enter. It is not financial, tax or accounting advice. Always verify important figures independently.

6.Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse the Services. In particular, don’t: use them unlawfully; attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access; scrape or abuse them; infringe others’ rights; or upload harmful or illegal content.

7.Intellectual property

The Services — including software, design, and the “Girder Labs”, “ForgeFit” and “TrueShift” brands — are owned by Girder Labs or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services for their intended purpose. You keep ownership of content you create, and grant us the licence needed to operate the Service for you.

8.Third-party services

The Services rely on third parties (hosting, payments, AI providers, app stores). Their terms may also apply, and we’re not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

9.Availability & changes

We aim for reliable Services but can’t guarantee they’ll be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or discontinue features over time.

10.Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.

11.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Girder Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited by law. For paid Services, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12.Termination

You can stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or where needed to protect the Services or other users.

13.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction — subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

14.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the latest version will be posted here with the date above. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
